You can add a slider in the Astra theme using one of the following two methods:
- Using the Beaver Builder plugin.
- Using the Elementor plugin.

Method 1: How To Add A Slider In Astra Theme Using Beaver Builder Plugin?
First, install and activate this standard version of the Beaver Builder plugin.
Once Beaver Builder is active, edit the page with Beaver Builder on which you want to place the slider.
From the right-side Beaver Builder Modules panel, drag-and-drop the Content Slider module on the page.
Now, in the Content Slider settings panel, edit the first slide and add other slides that you want to show up in the slider.

Once you are done making the changes, don’t forget to publish your changes.
Okay! But what if you don’t want to use the Beaver Builder plugin?
That’s where the second method comes into the picture.
Method 2: How To Add A Slider In Astra Theme Using Elementor Pro Plugin?
Install and activate the Elementor Pro plugin.
Then, edit the page with Elementor on which you want to place the slider.
Drag-and-drop the Slides widget on the page.
Edit the existing slides and create new ones using the Slides widget’s settings panel.

After creating all the slides, don’t forget to publish your page.
And that’s it!
That is how you can add a slider in the Astra theme using either the Beaver Builder plugin or the Elementor plugin.

Which Method Should You Use To Create The Slider In Astra Theme?
I highly recommend that you use the Beaver Builder plugin.
This is because the Beaver Builder plugin is more stable and secure than the Elementor plugin.
It is a bit costly compared to the Elementor plugin, but you don’t have to worry about your site breaking or getting hacked with every new update of the plugin.
However, the money is yours and so should be the decision.
Pick one of these two plugins, and you should be able to create a slider.
